After deliberation I have decided not to continue as editor at The Fix because I didn't feel it would work out for me. My thanks to everyone and I hope you'll understand.

ETA: I've received a couple of emails wondering if this is an April Fool's joke. No, I assure you it is not.

Today is The Fix's one-year anniversary. For me, it's been a great year. I started out as a reviewer last October, and in January became an interviewer. And then in May, Eugie asked me to do some copyediting, which led to becoming assistant editor last month.

I guess I made the grade as a copyeditor at The Fix, as Eugie promoted me to Assistant Editor. Basically the same job, though I'm doing image and HTML formatting, along with other advisory tasks. Now I need to get some spiffy business cards so I can put Assistant Editor on them. *hee*
